The End of The Beginning

In the final chapter the lives of Lily, Freya, Mia and Naomi become interwoven in a fun and unpredictable way. The girls serendipitously cross paths with one another at The Coffee Shack, a popular Stanton hangout featured throughout the four narratives. This is the final scene of the book, but the opening scene of their friendship. This chapter gives the reader warm, heartfelt closure while leaving the door open for more stories within a larger series.

      At the end of the book, the reader is invited to deepen their connection with the characters by completing a quiz via QR Code titled, Who's your Star? Much like a horoscope, the reader can discover the character with whom they most identify, engaging in self-discovery. The quiz will tackle the following questions: Do you experience growth through your willingness to accept and embrace change like Lily? Do you have the strength that it takes to overcome life’s unforeseen challenges like Freya? Do you remain aligned with your core values by following your intuition like Mia? Do you possess Naomi’s determination when faced with hurdles and hardship? The central characters within The Stars of Stanton may come from a variety of backgrounds. But the challenges they face transcend all divisions, and every reader has an opportunity to connect with each character in their own way.

The image of the four Stars is a general idea of how I pictured them as I was writing this book. Because I’m a writer, and not a fine artist :), I created the image using AI, describing their features and their specific, individual styles. I would love to bring these characters to life by replacing these images with those created by a real life artist!
